Terms & Conditions – Rosbo Ltd
1. General
These Terms & Conditions apply to all quotations, works, and services carried out by Rosbo Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) for the customer (“you”, “your”). Acceptance of our quotation through the Xero link constitutes full agreement to these terms.
2. Quotations & Pricing
All quotations are valid until the expiry date shown on your Xero quote.
Prices shown are inclusive of VAT at the current rate, unless otherwise stated.
Quotations are based on the information available at the time of issue. Any additional works or variations requested or required due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. hidden damage, additional repairs, or material changes) will be charged accordingly.
Quotations are provided in good faith but may be subject to adjustment if site conditions differ from those originally described or visible.
3. Acceptance & Scheduling
Once you accept the quotation via the Xero link, we will contact you to confirm acceptance and make all necessary arrangements for scheduling and access.
Start dates are subject to change depending on weather conditions, material availability, or other factors beyond our control.
You agree to provide clear and safe access to the property and ensure the work area is free from obstruction for the duration of the works.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full upon completion of the works, unless alternative terms have been agreed in writing prior to commencement.
Some projects may require staged payments (for example, deposits, progress payments, or balance on completion). Where applicable, these stages will be clearly stated in your quotation or invoice.
Payment can be made by bank transfer using the details provided on your invoice.
Late payments may incur interest at 5% above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily until payment is received in full.
All materials supplied remain the property of Rosbo Ltd until payment has been received in full.
5. Materials & Workmanship
We use high-quality materials suitable for each project. Manufacturer warranties apply where relevant.
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion, covering defects arising from our workmanship only.
This guarantee does not cover damage caused by external factors such as severe weather, structural movement, lack of maintenance, third-party interference, or pre-existing issues.
6. Site Conditions & Safety
You are responsible for providing safe access to the work area and ensuring electricity and water are available if required.
We will take all reasonable care to protect your property, but we cannot accept liability for existing damage or for issues arising from underlying defects or conditions outside our control.
For safety reasons, please keep clear of work areas while work is in progress.
7. Delays & Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays caused by adverse weather, material shortages, supplier delays, illness, or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Start and completion dates are given in good faith but are not guaranteed.
8. Cancellation
You may cancel the agreed works before the start date by giving at least 7 days’ written notice.
Cancellations within 7 days may incur reasonable charges for materials ordered or preparation undertaken.
If we must postpone or cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible and rearrange the works at a mutually convenient time.
9. Liability
Our liability for any claim arising from our work shall not exceed the total value of the quoted works. We accept no responsibility for indirect or consequential losses.
10. Complaints & Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us within 7 days of completion. We will make every effort to resolve any issues promptly and fairly.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
